The nine-year-old gelding Kafka van Paebroek, ridden by his Colombian rider Dayro Arroyave, competed in his first CSI3* Grand Prix at 1.50m level on Friday 8 May in Le Touquet, France. The son of Kannan out of the Carthago mare Cassandra Z narrowly missed out on the jump-off due to a one-second time penalty, which placed him 18th.

On Thursday, the pair had already secured a 6th place in a 1.40m competition.
