Both Corazon and Kafka started the new season successfully with placings.

Corazon van Paebroek placed fifth with Isaac Hall in the British national show jumping competition at 1.30 m level on Friday, February 13, at Arena UK in Allington.

Kafka van Paebroek finished in 11th place on Thursday, February 12, in the 1.45 m Grand Prix qualifier in Valencia, Spain, during the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour in Oliva with his rider Dayro Arroyave. In the 1.45 m Longines Ranking class on Sunday, they both placed 8th.
